Frequently Asked Questions

This is the number one question and top of list for any potential commission build. People want to know whether they're looking at a $1,500 table or a $10,000 table before they invest time in a conversation.
The answer is, it varies. Prices for a custom investment piece of furniture can range from $1,500 for our standard small round tables and upwards of $5,000+ for larger dining room sets. What dictates the final price:
>Size of the project
>Materials
>Number of pieces
>Complexity
Just to name a few factors. -
I prefer to be hands on to make sure that: one, you are comfortable with me providing you with a potentially sizable investment, and two, our collaboration fully meets your needs and aesthetics.
As such, here is what you can expect:
Step 1: We make contact, and then I will schedule a quick little call to collect some information about size, type, budget, and generally what solutions I can provide.
Step 2: We have that quick call to get more information about the project and expectations. Depending upon the scope of the project, I may ask if I can view the space to take measurements and get a sense of where the piece will live.
Step 3: From the information gathered I will then build a design and quote. This is at no cost, and is not binding. If we need to make changes, or discuss options we can absolutely do that!
Step 4: Once we nail down the design, materials, and quote price, I will ask you for a deposit equal to 50% of the quote/contract total, so we can start work on your project.
Step 5: I will periodically check in with progress and when we get close to completion, we will setup a delivery date.
Step 6: We deliver your custom furniture investment to your home with white glove service and collect the remainder of the project price.
Step 7: We ask you to please share photos, let us know how we did, and also enjoy peace of mind with the two year craftsmanship warranty that comes with every piece.
And then I hope we see each other again for the next project! -
We use standard North American hardwood species of Cherry, Maple, White Oak, and Walnut. We can, however, use other domestic hardwood species if you have a specific type preference.

Yes! In fact that is something that I love to do. A piece of furniture should fit its space like a well tailored suit. I design and build everything to meet your specifications. During the initial meeting I will ask if you have a size in mind and a style preference.

A typical dining set takes around six to eight weeks from deposit payment to delivery to your space. Certain factors may make the completion run shorter or longer depending upon conditions potentially outside of my control.
